Explore the Washington Wetland 10
Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
This out-and-back route follows the River Wear from the Washington Wetland Centre. Running alongside the river, it passes through peaceful waterside surroundings with woodland and open green spaces providing a welcome escape from the nearby urban area. After reaching the turnaround point, the route retraces the same riverside path back to the Wetland Centre. Sections can be muddy in wet conditions.
