To provide you with nearby running routes, Skamper requires access to your location. We will ask for your permission to access your location information when you first use the app. If you grant us permission, we will use your location information to suggest routes based on your current location or another location of your choosing.During your activity, we will continue to collect location information, even if the app is being used in the background, to track your progress and to record your registration at the checkpoints and completion of a successful run. The Skamper app stops tracking your location on successful completion of your run. We do not share your location information with any third parties unless required by law and we do not retain the detailed track of your run, only the times at which you visit the checkpoints.
Notification Permissions
Skamper may also require you to enable notifications on your device. This allows us to send you updates on your progress during your run and on successful completion. We will only send you notifications that are related to your activity, and we will not use your notification permissions for any other purpose.
