Explore the Blakeney Coastal Trail
Location: Cley next the Sea, Norfolk
Check tide conditions and any seasonal access restrictions before running, as sections of Blakeney Point may be closed to protect wildlife.
This out-and-back route follows the shingle spit of Blakeney Point from Cley Beach towards the Lifeboat House. The majority of the route is on loose shingle, making for a tough and uneven surface that requires more effort than the distance suggests. The route passes through Blakeney National Nature Reserve, with the Watch House providing a notable landmark along the way. Continuing towards the dunes and Lifeboat House, the route then retraces the same path back.
