Shoe suggestion: Trail

Beautiful route! Amazing views of Grasmere and Rydal Water. Mostly bridleway so trail shoes are ideal. Loads of shelter from any sun or rain. No major climbs. Bonus ice cream vendor (Bada Bing) near the end! Easy to navigate but just check occasional turn. Great for runners or walkers. Highly recommended.
