Explore the Talybont Reservoir
Location: Talybont-on-Usk, Powys
This circular route offers a gentle run around Talybont Reservoir, nestled within the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. The circuit covers just under 10 km, with a roughly even mix of paved (a road with no pavement) and off-road surfaces, which are mainly on the converted railway line of the Taff Trail. Climbing is concentrated at the southern end as the run leaves the road and heads up to the Taff Trail.
