Explore the West Bridgford Waterways
Location: West Bridgford, East Midlands
This run offers a flat and flowing run through West Bridgford, with minimal climbing spread evenly around the circuit. It's a roughly even mix of paved and off-road surfaces, making for a varied run underfoot. Mostly scenic except for a 2km stretch cutting back from the canal to the river.
Much of the circuit runs alongside the River Trent, following the Trent Valley Way and The Big Track for long stretches. You'll also find yourself close to the Beeston Canal for a section, and pass by Wilford Suspension Bridge. The route skirts the edge of Clifton Grove and touches Weirfield Recreation Ground, offering a mix of open spaces and tree-lined paths.
