Explore the Little & Great Haywood loop
Location: Colwich, Staffordshire
The route follows a scenic stretch of the Trent & Mersey Canal, using sections of both the Trent Valley Way and The Way for the Millennium. Leaving the canal, it heads through the village of Little Haywood before crossing open farmland to Great Haywood. The return rejoins the canal towpath, providing a peaceful, traffic-free finish with a mix of waterside running, countryside paths and quiet village lanes.
