Runners in and around Launceston get anything from 5km to 10.5km, and it's mostly on pavement and quiet roads, so road shoes are fine. There's enough climbing in most of these to be felt. Most are loops, so you finish back where you started. Liskeard and Stratton are close enough to be worth a look too.
