Runs in and around Whickham

Whickham offers a good variety of running, with most routes being gently rolling. You'll find a mix of surfaces, so it's worth checking the route details before you head out.

Many of the runs are loops, and you could try the Watergate Forest Park route or head south along the River Derwent.
