Farmoor Reservoir Southern loop — 4.5 km Running Route

This short circular route around Farmoor Reservoir offers a flat and straightforward run of just over 4 km. The entire loop is on pavement, making for consistent underfoot conditions.

Climbing is concentrated in one part of the circuit, with a single main descent elsewhere, but the overall elevation change is minimal, with only about 5 metres of ascent throughout. The reservoir views dominate the run, with the River Thames and Thames Path also close by for a stretch.
