Explore the Great Orton - Little Orton
Location: Orton, Cumberland
A countryside loop linking Great Orton and Little Orton on a mix of field paths, woodland, farm tracks and lanes. Underfoot varies, firm on the lanes and tracks, softer through the fields, and likely muddy in the wood and around gateways after rain. Expect stiles and gates to break your rhythm, and possibly livestock in the fields.
Generally little traffic on the lanes, but stay alert on any road sections.
