Abbots Moss and Hogshead Wood — 5.5 km Running Route

This roughly 7 km circular route explores the area around Whitegate and Marton, offering a mix of paved and off-road running. The circuit is essentially flat, with only about 5 metres of climbing spread gently around the loop.

Much of the running is on quiet lanes, including a stretch along Tarporley Road and Hoagshead Lane. The route also takes in sections of the Weaver Parkway, with glimpses of the water at Nunsmere and Abbotsmoss Wood. Expect a smooth surface for most of the run, with some short sections on trail.
