Runs in and around Barnard Castle

Running around Barnard Castle, you'll find routes that are gently rolling, so there are no big climbs. Most of the running is offroad, on surfaces like trails and paths.

Many of the routes are loops, which is handy for getting back to where you started. You could try the River Loop to Cotherstone or the Deepdale Wood route.
