Explore the Little Hayworth - Milford trail loop
Location: Colwich, Staffordshire
Half flat, half hilly, this circuit follows a scenic stretch of the Trent & Mersey Canal, using sections of the Trent Valley Way and The Way for the Millennium. It also incorporates parts of the Tolkien Trail Great Haywood Walk and the Heart of England Way, before skirting Oat Hill and Berry Hill on quieter woodland and countryside paths. The route combines canal towpaths, forest tracks and short paved sections, creating a varied run with gentle undulations and a good balance of runnable terrain and natural surroundings.
