Ripon Racecourse Lake — 4.5 km Running Route

This short loop in Ripon offers a mix of paved and off-road running, covering about 4 km. Roughly two-thirds of the circuit is on pavement, with the rest on trail or path. The ground is essentially flat, with only around 5 metres of elevation change across the whole loop, concentrated in one part.

The route runs alongside the River Ure for a stretch, and also follows the Ripon Canal for a time. You'll pass several lakes and the Ripon Racecourse, with the Northern Reedbed visible off to one side. It's a straightforward circuit, good for a relaxed run.
