This 12 km circuit around Carsington Water offers a gently undulating run with roughly 60 metres of climbing spread throughout. The ground underfoot is a roughly even mix of paved and off-road surfaces, making for a varied feel.

The path follows the shoreline closely for much of the way, with views across the water. You'll pass through sections of woodland and open areas, with the occasional short climb or descent keeping things interesting.
