Starting from Tait’s Brae in Kingussie, this route transitions quickly from paved residential lanes to rugged, heather-clad trails. With 222m of vertical gain, it is a punchy, hilly effort that rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views over the Spey Valley and the Monadhliath mountains. The terrain is varied, featuring steep technical ascents and fast, flowing descents that will test both your lung capacity and your footwork on the granite-dusted paths.
