Route Overview & Local Insights

Based on Southampton Common, this is a predominantly flat, fast course on wide tarmac paths, looping anticlockwise through open grassland and wooded sections. There's one genuine climb heading north that briefly breaks the rhythm, rewarded by a long descent back through the trees. Short gravel stretches add variety underfoot. Mostly sheltered by trees, it's a pleasing mix of open and enclosed running.
