This 21.8km point-to-point journey takes you through the heart of the Lake District, tackling the legendary second leg of the Bob Graham Round. Starting from Threlkeld, runners face a relentless 1595m of ascent across rugged, high-alpine terrain. You’ll conquer the mighty Helvellyn—the third-highest peak in England—along with a series of technical ridges and grassy fells. The terrain is classic Cumbrian fell running: a mix of steep, lung-bursting climbs, rocky technical sections above 500m, and a punishingly steep scree descent to Grisedale Tarn before the final, brutal climb up Fairfield.
