Starting in the charming town of Llangollen, you’ll enjoy a brief, flat warm-up along the canal towpath before the real work begins. This is a Category SL (Long) fell run characterized by a grueling 904m of ascent, taking you over the iconic summits of Moel Morfydd, Moel y Gaer, and Moel y Gamelin. The terrain is a true runner’s mixed bag: about 15km of paved surfaces bridge the gaps between rugged ridgelines, demanding climbs, and technical descents.
