Scafell Pike from Seathwaite

Description

Scafell Pike, at 978m, is England's highest mountain. The ascent is made via Styhead Tarn and the Corridor Route which includes very mild scrambling.The descent is via Esk Hause and Grains Gill. A lot of the terrain is very rocky so don't expect to run much unless you are an experienced fell runner. This course has sections above 500m. Weather conditions can change at short notice, so plan accordingly.
