Crummock Water and Mosedale

Description

Start in the Lanthwaite Wood National Trust and follow the west shore of Crummock Water before ascending alongside Scale Beck to a col at the head of Mosedale. Then follow a track down the peaceful Mosedale Valley, through Flass Wood and past Low Park to return. After a lot of rain the path along Crummock Water can be floodedThis course has sections above 500m. Weather conditions can change at short notice, so plan accordingly.
